  The place is gradually deteriorating. They took the soap dispensers out of the shower, the scale out of the locker room, their hours aren't as good on weekends (they close at 5 and Planet fitness which is brand new right down the road closes at 7pm and is cheaper both in annual and monthly fees!).
  
  Also the staff, while friendly, really messed up. When I was contemplating cancelling in December, I asked about the annual fee, was told it would hit in April and had time to consider my options. When I returned in January I found out that this was not the case and in fact I couldn't avoid this fee as it was happening in January.
  
  I don't think he intentionally lied, but as a result of the confusion I didn't cancel when I could have avoided the fee and now I am left without recourse to address it. The staff said they could not override this, and I had to instead contact a membership email address (there was no phone option and in fact the desk people told me they could not give me any management phone number).
  
  It's been two weeks and I still haven't heard back. When there email states that I will hear within 5 business days. The fact that they're about to open another gym worries me as it seems like they can't even manage the ones that they currently have.
